Farmington Country Club
Ample Space and Rich Traditions
Settle into centuries of history. Social events, dinners, weddings, receptions and brunch celebrations hold a sense of deeply rooted pride and honor at Farmington Country Club. The 90-plus-year-old family-oriented private club contains a variety of prestigious rooms and spaces for entertaining while professional kitchen and service staff are onsite to ensure your every desire is met.
The main house, built in the late 1700s, includes the stately Jefferson Room — an octagonal addition that Thomas Jefferson drew plans for in 1803. The spacious, flexible and elegant Ballroom is adorned with five opulent crystal chandeliers, hardwood floors and a baby grand piano. The attached outdoor patio and Peacock Alley pre-function space add to wedding reception ease and flow.
Farmington’s main dining room is ideal for mid-sized events and features a baby grand piano, stately fireplace and custom mural walls. The Pine Room's wood beams, stone fireplace, wine cabinets and beautiful Alberene soapstone floors add to its warm, rustic allure while the intimate Wine Room's circular seating and warm ambient lighting make for a memorable family dinner. Gorgeous receptions unfold in the classic Blue Ridge Room with a bar, terrace and porch offering breathtaking views of the North Lawn and patios.
Farmington's newest outdoor event space, the Ice House is a renovated historic structure perfect for private gatherings. For the ultimate al fresco celebration, the expansive North Lawn and Lower Patio provide spectacular views of the northern Blue Ridge Mountains.
