Annie & Spencer
Stately November Vows at Farmington Country Club
Annie and Spencer’s November wedding at Farmington Country Club was graced with gilded autumn splendor and grand ballroom opulence. Charlottesville wedding planner Kennon Ibbeken orchestrated a loving father-daughter and mother-daughter first look, and a pastoral pre-ceremony couple photo shoot. A gorgeously styled ceremony unfolded on the north lawn with white seating draped in white blooms and a string quartet guiding the wedding party down the manicured grass aisle. Heat lamps and soft shawls kept guests cozy on the chilly day and cheers erupted as the groom kissed his bride silhouetted by autumn hillsides and distant mountain peaks.
Farmington Country Club’s crisp landscape wore traces of orange, red and gold hanging on under an overcast sky. The bride’s plush white winter shawl added soft texture as she walked the paved path from the brick country club to tap on her fiancé’s shoulder and share in a joyous first embrace. Charlottesville wedding photographers with Benjamin McLean Photography framed family and wedding party portraits around lingering golden fall foliage, catching sweet hugs from the adorable flower girl and bridal party prepping laughs and dance moves over flutes of champagne.
Talented floral designers with Blue Ridge Floral Design put together graceful dramatic white anemone bouquets. Ivory roses, white blooms and swathing greenery welcomed guests to the ceremony space and an intricate custom floral archway and soaring table centerpieces created a special reception glow in the elegant ballroom where decor by MS Events added to the royal feel.
A men’s a cappella group welcomed guests to the party handing the stage over to a jazz band for dance floor fun. A grand Southern feast complete with carving and serving stations, abundant bubbly and three tiers of epicurean wedding cake under five opulent crystal chandeliers capped the celebration.
