Secluded Comforts
Established in 1981, this family-owned estate and wedding venue delivers a comfortable and memorable setting for central Virginia weddings. The spacious property allows couples and their closest friends and family to relax among lush lawn areas, a poolside patio, wooded nooks and a welcoming home.
The estate is conveniently situated between Charlottesville and Shenandoah National Park and serves up more than 6,000 square feet of event space. Couples design their weekend around welcome receptions and dinners in the main house or pool house, a romantic forested gazebo ceremony, cocktail hour on the lush expansive lawn or next to the reflective pool and a grand tented wedding reception under the endless Virginia night sky.
The Franklin Estate welcomes intimate elopements, large lavish celebrations and everything in between. Photographers swoon for the estate's landscaped garden area, wooden gazebo and the home's simple and distinct architecture. Guests stay the night in onsite suites, accommodating up to 16 overnight guests and enjoy access to the relaxing pool and patio.
