Prospect Hill Inn
Storybook Romance
A former 18th-century wheat farm and the oldest continually operated frame-house Virginia inn, Prospect Hill lives on as a cherished Virginia area bed and breakfast and restaurant. Immaculate expansive grounds and 13 historic rooms and cottages set the relaxed scene for an idyllic wedding weekend.
Situated on 40 pastoral acres in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Prospect Hill’s historic Manor House and cottages (circa 1699–1850) provide a comfortable at-home setting while superior service and charming romantic touches add to the country inn aesthetic. Rolling hills and wine country beauty cloak the area and couples choose from ceremony sites that include a traditional wedding gazebo, historic tree garden canopy, rustic barn backdrops, pasture settings and manicured lawn space. Receptions sing as tented events on the garden lawn and indoor celebrations gather in the historic Rose Room, which hosted its first wedding in 1865. Elopement and intimate wedding packages are also available.
