Lovingston Winery
Virginia Vineyard Perfection
A family residence since 1906, Lovingston Winery and Josie's Knoll Vineyard opened in 2003 as a small batch estate grown vineyard and winery. The deep rolling Blue Ridge Mountain hills and rich red clay and granite soil has yielded celebrated red and white varietals while the beautiful grounds and intentional focus on “slow weddings” has earned Lovingston Winery national acclaim.
Couples are invited to take their time, settling into the family-run farm and laying out dream wedding day flow throughout the property's indoor and outdoor spaces. With more than 40 hours included in every wedding booking, couples dream big and design stunning outdoor ceremonies among centuries-old oak trees, 12 acres of vineyard rows and pastoral central Virginia countryside bliss.
Savor a two-night stay in the historic 1906 Farmhouse and use the well-appointed bridal suite for day-of prepping. Invite friends and family to stay in the farmhouse and the log cabin, sleeping 10 and 6 respectively. Host an elegant reception in the roomy pavilion and spill out onto the garden patio, gathering around the fireplace and taking in the breathtaking sunset and night sky.
