HeartRock Retreat & Homestead
A Flourishing Homestead
This touching family-run venue finds deep meaning in infusing celebrations with a sense of vitality and promise. The active homestead invites couples to share private vows in the gardens or under a forest canopy or to welcome friends and family together for a joy-filled tented soiree.
For intimate weddings, HeartRock offers space for 75 to 100 guests, depending on season. Orchestrate your celebration and unforgettable photo shoots around fields of edible, medicinal and floral gardens tucked into an oak forest. There are accommodations for 15 overnight guests on the property, available the night before and night of the ceremony. Choose from the Main House, Guest House and charming Tree House and savor reading nooks, hammocks, porch swings, a fire pit and poor man’s hot tub, and many other outdoor gathering spaces.
Enjoy easy access to the Rockfish River, George Washington National Forest and the vineyards and breweries of Nelson County. Soak in the tranquil natural beauty of HeartRock and design your day around the fields and pond, setting a ceremony up under the trees, cocktail hour in the gardens and a special tented reception on the spacious lawn.
