Warm Autumn Hues and Industrial Brick at The Wool Factory

Jules and Jordan’s October wedding at The Wool Factory combined modern urban style with pastoral autumn dashes on the edge of downtown Charlottesville. The restored 19th century textile mill warmed and welcomed guests with chic minimalist design and ingrained historic esteem. Renowned Charlottesville wedding planners from Swoon Soirée orchestrated the misty autumn day, arranging a stunning spacious main event hall ceremony against the venue’s exposed brick and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Walden Florals brought the outdoors in with feathery fall foliage, rustic leafing and native seasonal floral hints that mingled perfectly with wedding party hues of sweet ginger spice and velvety dusty rose. The reception hall resounded with romantic autumnal vibes across long candlelit walnut farm tables, soft cream linens and posh emerald seating.

The Smiths Photography captured raw, unfiltered emotion in the flower girl’s jubilant run down the aisle, the groom making his wife giggle during their first dance, and family toasts filled with genuine love and care. From the bride’s white high-top dancing sneakers with the wedding date stitched in to the box of celebratory cigars, no detail was missed. The festive Wool Factory courtyard, surrounding lush greenery and the iconic water tower made for artful backdrops under clear umbrellas.

Jazzy funk tunes rolled across the venue as celebrated Wool Factory executive chef Tucker Yoder and executive pastry chef Rachel DeJong wowed with Southern cocktail hour bites, a plated coursed dinner of grilled fish and prime rib and a three-tier classic white wedding cake. Guests went home smiling with boxes of world-famous Penn State Ye Olde College Diner grilled stickies.
