Livia & Kegan
Vintage Old World Romance at Eastwood Farm & Winery
Chic Italian romance collided with enchanted woodland beauty at Livia and Kegan’s Eastwood Farm & Winery wedding. The May celebration was drenched in organic, free-flowing garden vibes and loving personal touches. The dewy day elevated the wooded landscape to a glowing, vibrant shade of green while the tented ceremony gently nuzzled into the densely forested hillside.
Charlottesville wedding floral designers from Secret Flowers created a fairytale ceremony arbor of draped fern, moss, twigs and verdant leafing. The extensive floral design interwove indoor and outdoor spaces, tying everything together in lush, deep greenery and delicate Queen Anne’s lace. Steel grey suits with black lapels and formal bow ties and muted sage bridesmaids’ gowns brought stylish panache to the spring soiree.
Charlottesville wedding photographer Jill Meriwether captured darling getting ready details in the charming Eastwood Farm brick winery cottage and tender first look kisses under raindrops and clear umbrellas. Vintage framed photos of loved ones, a custom cake celebrating the Washington Capital’s NHL championship and monogrammed sugar cookie party favors added thoughtful dashes.
As the sun emerged through the clouds for a pink and orange golden hour, Cater 2 Events arranged serving stations, including an Italian spread of flatbread, caprese salad, bruschetta, penne with meatballs and grilled chicken with a lemon cream sauce. A market station of grilled seasonal vegetables, Caesar salad cups and pimento cheese cups with bacon along with an impressive fruit and cheese offering rounded out the culinary display. Guests savored a detailed three-tiered white almond wedding cake, accent cakes and a sumptuous table of traditional Italian cookies and biscotti with coffee service in between soulful toasts and dancing.
