Vintage Disco Fantasia at Lowndes Grove

Anna and Dylan’s April Lowndes Grove wedding was larger than life with twisting sky-high florals, inventive mismatched ceremony seating, tarot readings, glinting disco balls and his-and-hers golden T-rex cake toppers. The spring Charleston fête swirled in a rainbow of bright corals, pinks, yellows, burgundy and deep green.

Charleston wedding planners with Mac & B Events elevated the famed venue’s 14 dramatic acres of live oak groves and serene river views with vibrant décor and unexpected touches. Incredible styling by Adorn, The French Eclectic, Curated Events, Snyder and Nüage Linens made the mansion-on-the-water revelry aesthetic soar through elaborate vintage waterfront lounge spaces, hanging tree swing beds and disco accents.

Charleston photographers Sean Money + Elizabeth Fay caught an ultra-glam wedding party prep shoot, dazzling in jewel-toned silk robes, feathers, sequins and designer dresses and suits. Beaming with a background in New York fashion, the bride stunned in a Vera Wang dress and veil, mismatched galactic earrings and knockout fishnet heels.

The Bearded Florist executed the outrageous eclectic garden party vibe with incredible hand-built floral installations cascading from trees, stairways and dinner tables. Even the dance floor was crowned by an extravagant floating apparatus of bright blooms and moody hues. Brass figurines and antique vases mingled with pastel candlesticks and violet-tinged vintage glassware as caterers with the renowned Patrick Properties Hospitality Group served a divinely curated menu.
