Becky & Javier
Tranquil Autumn Grace at The Clifton
Becky and Javier’s Charlottesville wedding dripped in delicate elegance and romantic dashes. The bride’s chic white spaghetti-strapped gown and a subtle bridesmaids palette of velvety desert rose and fairytale blush complemented the estate’s soft autumn glow as The Clifton wore its full late-October countryside expression. The wedding party gracefully flowed from the Colonial Revival manor home’s imperial entrance down to the grand lawn ceremony where the couple shared vows under a sun-drenched fall sky.
Charlottesville wedding planner Lane Stewart Events orchestrated an unforgettable celebration, filled with romantic garden touches and long-held traditions. Artists with A. Morgan Event Floral Design built voluptuous bouquets and meandering tablescapes in gentle shades of blush, violet and ivory and a custom ceremony arbor draped in full sunny blooms.
A wall of champagne flutes guided guests past the infinity pool to their tables set in glinting gold flatware, glowing candlelight and crystal glassware inside the forest-nestled grand court tent. Charlottesville wedding photographer Nikki Santerre Photography captured a touching father-daughter first look and intimate newlywed embraces, sneaking away with the couple for a sunset secret garden shoot. Guests savored butler-attended regional wine and hors d'oeuvres from the talented in-house culinary team followed by a three-tier flower-cloaked wedding cake and dessert table of homemade cinnamon rolls, cookies and other decadent bites.
