Charlottesville wedding planners with Donovan-Groves Events orchestrated the seamless wedding day flow from the sun-drenched May afternoon ceremony to a sunset champagne cocktail hour and lawn games on the Tuscan veranda and into the vaulted granary reception space.

Floral designers from Nature Composed set a glorious summer scene of lavish florals in rich shades of peach, indigo, yellow and desert rose. Arrangements turned heads in adorable flower girl crowns, free-flowing English garden bouquets and a show-stopping rustic-meets-graceful ceremony arch of thick vines, greenery and yellow and ivory blooms.

The Pippin Hill Catering team served estate-grown wine and a feast celebrating Charlottesville’s renowned garden-to-table food scene, plucking ingredients from the onsite garden and topping the evening with a four-tier wedding cake. Charlottesville wedding décor and lighting by BBJ Rentals, Paisley & Jade, MS Events and Blue Ridge Event Production created a beautiful dining and dancing space of wooden farm tables set in white runners, abundant desert rose and ivory florals and plush pillowed lounge areas among dramatic drapery and strung lighting.
