Caitlin & Doug
Shenandoah Valley Autumn Bounty at Big Spring Farm
Caitlin and Doug's November wedding at Big Spring Farm was an exquisite celebration of autumn love and timeless fall beauty. The couple chose the historic 200-acre estate as the idyllic setting to exchange vows amidst the season's bucolic golden hues.
Out of Twig Photography captured each heartfelt moment with timeless cinematic style, documenting this truly unforgettable wedding day. As guests arrived, they were welcomed by a rustic wooden arbor adorned with cascading greenery. Seasonal blooms in shades of burgundy, mustard and rust by Brin's Posy Floral accentuated the natural pastoral elegance. The aisle was lined with wooden seating and accented with wine barrels and floral arrangements, creating a warm, intimate atmosphere for the alfresco ceremony.
Against the backdrop of the sun-dappled Blue Ridge Mountains, Caitlin made a breathtaking entrance, her delicate lace and tulle gown accented by a flowing veil. She carried a stunning bouquet of dahlias, proteas, chrysanthemums and eucalyptus, its rich, autumnal tones perfectly complementing the groom's tweed suit and boutonniere.
Following the ceremony, the wedding party and guests moved to the property's reception barn, where Dear Sweetheart Events had transformed the space into a graceful, welcoming rustic-inspired setting. Wooden farm tables were adorned with foliage, pillar candles and bud vases filled with the wedding's signature flowers, creating an organic aesthetic. Twinkling strung lighting suspended from the rafters cast a warm, romantic glow while Paisley & Jade's vintage-inspired rentals and decor elements added elegant comfortable touches.
As the sun began to dip beyond the peaks, guests indulged in a seasonal farm-to-table menu curated by CHEFs Catering, sipping on signature cocktails and celebrating the newlyweds. When the time came to bid farewell, Caitlin and Doug made a grand exit through a tunnel of sparklers.
