Julia & Mechelle
Rosy Spring Flourishes at Pippin Hill
Julia and Mechelle’s special Charlottesville wedding day unfolded in the prettiest shades of pink among a blooming spring Pippin Hill wedding landscape. The brides put together a tender pastel palette with a storybook romance air. Charlottesville wedding floral designers from Southern Blooms enhanced every setting with brilliant locally grown spring flowers, dropping jaws with an elaborate ceremony archway and a reception chandelier festooned in fresh blooms and unique twinkling bauble lights.
A Bible signed by Julia’s great-grandmother in 1932, homemade fudge packaged in remembrance of Mechelle’s late grandmother and photos of the couple’s husky on bouquet wrappings brought in intimate family touches. Intuitive Charlottesville wedding planners from Just a Little Ditty worked closely with Paisley & Jade, Blue Ridge Event Production and Emerson James Rental to coordinate Charlottesville wedding rentals that included vintage outdoor lounge seating, lawn games, creative lighting and tasteful tabletops of gold flatware and blush plating.
Pippin Hill wine and the in-house catering team’s artful gourmet passed hors d’oeuvres highlighted cocktail hour on the courtyard lawn. Rebecca Yale caught moments of pure romance and raw realness in first dances, champagne toasts and sweet embraces. Maliha Creations and Crozet Creamery pleased with decadent desserts.
