Rich Rose and Earth Tones at Mount Ida Farm & Vineyard

The rustic late autumn landscape took on a rosy sunset luminosity as Andrea and Michael shared their vows under a dreamy lakeside gazebo at Mount Ida Farm & Vineyard. The November Charlottesville wedding wore a palette of deep earth tones, magenta and rich rose under crisp blue skies hugged by final autumn notes of gold and orange.

Charlottesville wedding photographer Amber Mae Photography captured sacred moments in time, snapping photos of flower girls with the estate’s majestic horses, the bride’s long flowing veil and dramatic modern gown and the groom’s handsome vintage black-lapel suit in the deepest shade of cabernet.

Mount Ida Farm & Vineyard’s vast acreage and rolling pastures set a relaxed bucolic tone as events flowed from the waterfront to the romantic restored event barn. Wild Florest called on seasonal buds, stems and petals in striking shades of violet, persimmon and ivory. Natural simple wildflower reception centerpieces and cake-adorning florals added to the organic flow.

An elaborate dessert table delighted with gourmet cupcakes and fall cookies flanking a buttercream wedding cake. Caterers from The Local Catering served course after locally sourced course, showcasing regional farm-to-fork fare before guests took to the dance floor for a night of memorable moves.
