Jenna & Ryan
Pure Unfiltered Joy at The Wool Factory
Jenna and Ryan’s late September Charlottesville wedding at The Wool Factory radiated in a special blend of garden beauty and metropolitan style. Bridesmaids’ floral print gowns, petite hand-plucked wildflower bouquets in vibrant yellow, cornflower blue, rosy pink and tender violet, and a striking floral-doused welcome sign and reception space was met with the venue’s modern, chic industrial aesthetic.
Charlottesville wedding photographer Hannah Malloy snapped artistic and authentic imagery, editing the day’s moments with hazy, romantic filters. Her dedicated lens caught relaxed bridal loft moments, waves of emotion flooding the groom during a private first look, a twirling intimate dance, the couple walking outside under clear umbrellas, a shoot in the empty ceremony space sneaking a peek at the gorgeous scene before guests arrived and sharing a pre-ceremony cocktail and tender embraces and whispers on the lounge space’s tufted leather sofa.
The couple truly took time to savor every nook of their wedding venue, while photographers documented their high-energy love for each other. Early autumn rain moved festivities indoors and the posh, artful ceremony was set against the 19th century textile mill’s glass panes and exposed brick.
Pro planners with All The Dainty Details infused genuine couple details into the day through signature cocktails, branded matchbooks and fun “Guess Who” napkins offering up playful Jenna and Ryan facts. Planners orchestrated wedding party portraits with natural light flooding in through the venue’s generous floor-to-ceiling reception space windows. Willow Branch Flowers curated a wildflower garden scene inside the mod industrial space, lining the ceremony aisle with breathtaking installations and building a show-stopping altar installation to embrace the couple as they shared sacred vows.
Cocktail hour consisted of mini butlered dirty martinis, wine and artisanal passed hors d'oeuvres while the band took to the elevated stage and welcomed the couple to the dance floor. BBJ Rentals and MS Events set a sweet, clean-lined tone with vintage blue and white floral patterned china and linens, blue glassware, simple tea light candles and bronze flatware while the Wool Factory catering team with a multi-course feast built around local peak-season ingredients.
