Pristine December Perfection at Pippin Hill

Miranda and Erik’s December Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards wedding was wrapped in the famed venue’s natural organic beauty and polished hospitality. The bride wore timeless pearls, a traditional full veil and an exquisite white couture gown with long lace sleeves while the groom donned a stylish black tuxedo and sockless suede shoes. His dachshund cufflinks paid homage to their adorable pup who stole the wedding party show.

Charlottesville wedding planners with Donovan-Groves Events delivered seamless wedding day flow, playing up the crisp late fall landscape and Pippin Hill’s posh elevated spaces. The sun washed over the evening outdoor ceremony where the couple shared vows under an elaborate ivory floral archway, the lush lawn aisle lined with ivory candles and brilliant blossoms by Southern Blooms.

Photographer Lane Creatore captured precious moments, including a unique first look where the bride and family dog snuck up on a beaming groom, the bride’s parents tearing up at the first glimpse of their daughter and a stunning couple shoot set against Pippin Hill’s sweeping vineyard and mountain views.

Guest gift bags were filled with Virginia-made nuts, chocolate and granola and hot chocolate and spiced cider stations warmed the December chill. Tearful speeches and full-body laughs unfolded in the two-story vaulted granary reception space while Pippin Hill Catering experts served locally grown garden-to-table cuisine, his and hers signature cocktails and Pippin Hill wines. Soul Expressions jazz melodies and an extravagant shimmering four-tiered wedding cake from Cakes by Rachel capped the evening.
