Peaceful November Harmony at Eastwood Farm & Winery

Megan and Nick’s November wedding at Eastwood Farm & Winery welcomed late fall calm in fallen auburn leaves, crisp gilded hillsides and endless mountain vistas. Award-winning Charlottesville planners from Donovan-Groves Events played with a wedding palette of deep navy blue and soft sage mingling with rich wood and flowing emerald greenery. Wedding planners guided guests from the outdoor ceremony to the tented cocktail hour before whisking them off to dinner and dancing in the candlelit event barn — home to Eastwood Farm and Winery’s tasting room.

Charlottesville wedding photographer Jill Meriwether encapsulated the roaming property’s rolling hills and raspberry vines, orchestrating a wedding party shoot in the orchard and a joyful first look and photos with the couple’s dog among magical meadows and forested backdrops. Family, tradition and warm hospitality threaded moments together. Banjo, guitar and stand-up bass melodies greeted guests at the breathtaking ceremony lawn overlook point and a trio of doting flower girls in all white warmed hearts.

Wedding floral experts from Blue Ridge Floral Design wrapped the ceremony archway in lush white blooms and wild greenery, loose petals lining the aisle and the bridal party holding bountiful white bouquets. Wine, whiskey and hugs flowed freely while acclaimed caterers from Harvest Moon Catering showcased regionally sourced fare beginning burrata and arugula salads and artisan bread and whipped butter and moving on to hickory smoked chicken, lemon-thyme salmon, collard greens, gruyere mac and cheese and roasted cauliflower steaks with crispy rosemary polenta.
