Rebecca & John
Natural High School Sweetheart Beauty at Castle Hill
Rebecca and John Michael’s June wedding at Castle Hill Cider held a harmonious union of soft beauty and natural countryside charm. The wedding party wore deep steel blue and rustic romantic rose, celebrating true love among Castle Hill Cider’s pristine white fencing, fragrant apple orchards and centuries-old European linden grove.
The traditional Charlottesville countryside wedding welcomed endless rolling green hills and light, easy, natural bucolic beauty. Floral designers from the Posey Detail curated a gorgeous church ceremony alter centerpiece and bridal bouquets of subtle summertime pink and ivory blooms along with matching flower girl crowns.
Charlottesville wedding photographer Ashtyn Brooke Photo captured every sweet notion, from the bride’s delicate lace ballet flats to tender messages and gifts shared between the couple. Getting ready moments and a private couple shoot unfolded at coveted Italian-inspired estate Monte Ventoso and in intimate embraces throughout Castle Hill’s far-reaching terraced lawns and verdant groomed grounds.
Planners with Laura Elizabeth Wedding & Design Co. orchestrated immaculate flow from the church to Castle Hill’s iconic white cider barn for dining and dancing. Personalized touches included a cigar bar, Carpe Donut food truck and a Polaroid camera guestbook. The expansive space twinkled in soft strung lighting, endless foliage and rich wood farm tables. Décor and rentals by MS Events and Blue Ridge Event Production filled the space with ivory china, gold-trimmed stemware and abundant candlelight while APimento Catering served Southern caprese salad, porcini crusted tenderloin, Virginia freshwater trout, root vegetables in yogurt and pomegranate and grilled vegetables alongside potatoes in fresh thyme.
