Lakeside Gazebo Glory at Mount Ida Farm & Vineyard
Dana and Jake’s November nuptials conjured a warm autumn wine country glow. Exclusive luxury Virginia getaway Mount Ida Farm & Vineyard framed far-reaching Blue Ridge Mountain views and quiet rolling pastures, creating the perfect waterfront ceremony setting.
Charlottesville wedding planners with Kate Phillip Events told the couple’s love story through soft romantic touches in shades of desert rose and gold. Nikki Santerre Photography caught raw emotion and authentic candid imagery, capturing the evening light shining through the trees and backlighting the couple’s intimate first look.
Posh blue velvet bridesmaid’s gowns with ivory fur wraps and dashing black groomsmens tuxedos set a striking tone against the estate’s floral-draped lakeside gazebo. Designers from Wild Fleurette called on seasonal blooms and foliage to create flawless organic bouquets. The lush floral centerpieces complemented the elegant lodge reception space curated by Blue Ridge Event Production and MS Events in rose and gold linens, luminous chandeliers, sweeping white drapery and floating goblet candles.
Guests sipped fall Moscow mules and smoky bourbon sours, creating hand-written heart messages to the couple and connecting over playful photo booth props. A crackling fire in the regal stone fireplace illuminated a tearful father-daughter dance. Charlottesville wedding caterers from Exchange Events + Catering kept guests smiling with classic Caesar salads, pan-seared chicken breast, red wine marinated sirloin, smashed garlic potatoes and fall harvest vegetables followed by decadent gold-trimmed raspberry buttercream wedding cake. Late-night sliders and snacks kept the party going as the DJ brought all generations to the dance floor.
