Happily Ever After at The Inn at Willow Grove
Sally and Jack’s September Charlottesville wedding embraced a deep enchanted forest feel with notes of Southern style and grace. The Inn at Willow Grove enveloped the event in carefully preserved charm and peaceful garden ambiance set on 40 acres at the 18th century plantation estate.
Charlottesville event planner Liz Coffey played up the natural romantic aesthetics, working with a Boxwood Garden, grand magnolias and bubbling lions head fountains. The early fall Charlottesville ceremony proceeded down a hand-laid brick pathway to a custom pergola framing countryside views. Colonial Florist & Antiques crafted a stunning bouquet in mauve and cream roses with generous leafing. The bride’s elegant white gown and classic low swept hair and subtle makeup by FBJ Weddings exuded impeccable chic style.
Charlottesville wedding photography by Benjamin McLean Photography unfolded across touching calligraphy and vintage cameo details, a private first look and stolen moments in old grove trees followed by slow dances and champagne toasts. High-energy live brass grooves by The Bachelor Boys kept the dance floor warm.
