Ethereal Winter Elegance at the Historic Rice

This ethereal winter wedding at the Historic Rice Mill in Charleston, South Carolina, was a celebration of love and timeless elegance. On December 30th, vows were exchanged amidst the romantic ambiance of the venue, with its historic brick walls providing a charming backdrop.

The classic color palette of crisp whites, lush greenery, and touches of gold created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Out of Hand crafted the Erin’s bouquet, an enchanting mix of lush greenery and delicate white blooms, which perfectly complemented her strapless gown. Matthew dressed in a sharp black tuxedo for the ceremony, later changed into a white jacket for the reception, adding a sophisticated twist to his look.

Following the heartfelt ceremony, guests moved to the beautifully appointed reception space. Long wooden tables were adorned with greenery garlands, flickering candles, and gold accents that caught the soft, ambient lighting by Curated Events.

The first dance took place beneath a canopy of twinkling lights, setting the tone for an evening of joy and celebration. Surrounded by loved ones, the newlyweds danced the night away, with live music from East Coast Entertainment filling the room.

This winter wedding at the Historic Rice Mill was beautifully captured by Charleston Photo Art. Their keen eye for detail captured heartfelt moments, creating timeless photos.

The event was a captivating blend of classic style and heartfelt moments, leaving unforgettable memories for all who attended.
