Delicate Spring Beauty and Tuscan Design Vibes at Hazy Mountain
Libby and Seth’s wedding at Hazy Mountain Vineyards & Brewery brought together sprouting spring vibrancy and elegant Tuscan design under a brilliant blue May sky. Charlottesville wedding photographers with Green House Photography Co. captured tender getting ready moments, the bride nuzzling her tuxedoed pug, the flower girl’s flower crown being pinned into place, tearful family hugs and remembrances and mother-daughter embraces wrapped in the venue’s classic Italian style. Gilded chandeliers, marble countertops and long wooden family tables made for a comfortable morning setting.
A special shoot with a polished vintage car outside of Hazy Mountain’s stunning manor home accentuated the estate’s timeless Tuscan architecture and the bride beamed in a private photo shoot hugged by the property’s rich green landscaping, holding a flourishing and delicate spring bouquet of pearl, blush and pink blooms speckled with tiny blue wildflower accents courtesy of Tourterelle Floral Design. Guests sipped Hazy Mountain Vineyard wines during a pre-ceremony gathering on the terrace taking in views of the peaceful Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah Valley.
Libby walked arm in arm with her father down the stone terrace steps and onto the hardscape hilltop ceremony lawn arranged with pine seating and flowing violet and ivory florals. A custom Happily Ever After ceremony arbor gazed out over the vineyard and rolling mountainsides with the wedding party smiling in shades of matte pastel pink and muted sandy beige. Newlywed portraits glistened from the dock extending out over the glassy pond, perfect vineyard rows standing at attention in the background. As the sun began to dip behind the hillside, guests flowed into the grand reception hall where detailed stonework, Douglas fir timbers, and soft blue and white linens and lounge decor by Paisley & Jade welcomed the party under vaulted ceilings and out onto the sunny veranda. The Hazy Mountain culinary team delighted with artful plates of salmon, spring vegetables, roasted chicken and polenta towers while sweet treats by Maliha Creations and a Carpe Donut food truck kept the party going.
