Deep Burgundy and Forest Green at Eastwood Farm & Winery

Danielle and Bradley’s Memorial Day weekend nuptials at Eastwood Farm & Winery set a striking, noble tone with gallant military dress blues and a rich burgundy and woodsy green palette. Deep red bridesmaids’ gowns matched the bride’s heels hidden beneath her chic mod strapless dress as the May breeze swept her trailing veil high into the air.

Charlottesville wedding planners with Something Blue Weddings and Events accentuated the secluded Charlottesville wedding venue’s forested beauty with a simple mountaintop ceremony followed by a sunny afternoon cocktail hour on the terraced lawn. The private, 77-acre family farm beamed in late May glory, serving up endless rolling hills, meadows and raspberry vines.

Charlottesville wedding photographers from Stephanie Marie Photography documented each smiling moment from a magical first look in the orchard to an everyone-on-the-floor line dance. The newlyweds snuck away in a vintage blue Ford Mustang for a private wildflower field photo shoot before unveiling their choreographed first dance under the sweeping event tent.

Floral designer Abby Olson curated bountiful bouquets in a rainbow of spring hues and placed simple loose single stems in glass vases on long farm tables. Charlottesville wedding caterers Goodrich Gourmet treated guests to thoughtful comfort dishes and a Pittsburgh cookie table with take-away bags — a tradition sharing an impressive spread of macaroons, chocolate chip and red velvet cookies.
