Blue Ridge Autumn Glow at Castle Hill

Kristina and Scott’s late October celebration was drenched in autumn awe. Revered Charlottesville wedding venue Castle Hill Cider sang in peak fall foliage dancing in shades of gold, orange and deep red.

Charlottesville wedding planner The Hive Wedding Collective curated the day, keeping festivities rolling from the grand outdoor ceremony under blue skies and lush groves into a gorgeously designed cider barn reception. The rustic-meets-romantic earthy palette of deep crimson, burnt orange and soft yellows continued in arrangements by Hedge Fine Blooms. The expert Charlottesville wedding florist created a hand-crafted ceremony arbor in full fragrant blossoms along with statement-making reception centerpieces.

Photographer Melissa Diane left no detail untouched, capturing the bride’s glittering heels, darling flower girl moments, radiant bridal party shots and golden hour newlywed photos set against the 600-acre estate’s striking autumn leaves, pristine white fencing and centuries-old European linden grove.

Elegant lighting, bronze and ivory décor details and luxe linens by Charlottesville wedding rentals company MS Events set a sweet, easy flowing countryside reception space. Catering from Dinner at Home delighted with a three-course locally sourced meal of Caesar salad, rosemary-fennel pork roast, rich vegetable pasta, citrus-thyme chicken, grilled seasonal vegetables and homemade breads and butter followed by elaborate dessert table offerings.

East Coast Entertainment spurred a dance party that went well into the night and brought all generations to the floor.
