Blooming Black Tie Beauty at The Clifton Inn

Megan and Connor’s late May Charlottesville wedding at The Clifton Inn brought luscious delicate spring vibes in a sunny pastel palette and endless romantic touches. A plein air artist painted the secret garden ceremony overlooking verdant Blue Ridge Mountain forests while expert Charlottesville wedding planners from Just a Little Ditty orchestrated the Memorial Day weekend celebration.

Flowing powder blue bridesmaids’ dresses and slick black tuxedos made for regal wedding party photos in front of the historic estate’s colonial revival manor house. Charlottesville wedding photographer Sidney Leigh caught blissful moments in the landscape’s natural beauty and the couple’s unfiltered joy beginning with private vow readings during the intimate first look and running through stolen kisses over toasts and dinner.

Charlottesville wedding floral designers with Mallory Joyce Design set a brilliant, loving scene in endless spring florals, composing a generous ceremony arch and sweet reception décor in the softest notes of yellow, ivory and peach. Guests flowed from stylish cocktail hour lounge spaces speckled around the property’s gardens and lush lawns to the grand court tent nestled in the forest just beyond the tranquil pool.

Hand-curated décor by White Glove RentalsEmerson James and Paisley & Jade created chic nooks and glamorous hints in chandeliers hung from the tent’s peaks, glowing reception candlelight, pale blue linens and bone white china. Guests picked up personalized candle party favors and flip-flops in all sizes for dance floor comfort while the Clifton Inn catering team wowed with cocktail hour flutes of bubbly and an elaborate plated farm-to-fork dinner.
