Black Tie Meets Floral Elegance at Keswick Vineyards

Lauren and Aaron’s late spring Keswick Vineyards wedding harnessed pure Virginia wine country energy. The May celebration radiated the perfect mix of countryside charm and sophistication with chic black bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen suits set against white roses in full bloom and infinite rolling green farmland.

Charlottesville wedding planner Kristin Ridge Events designed the day around the polished and pretty aesthetic, playing up personalized touches in a monogrammed three-tier wedding cake and bar napkins with the couple’s golden retrievers smiling back. Décor and rentals by Paisley & Jade invited guests to relax in comfort and style through elaborate outdoor lounge areas and intimate candlelit tables flanked by trees and flower gardens.

Floral designers from Steelcut Flower Co. created a stunning scene with white and blush blooms gracing table centerpieces, thoughtful petite bouquets and a floral wall serving as a creative table place card display. Cascading floral displays flowed from the bride and groom antique reception table in the hand-stitched Aurora tent and cocktail hour hummed around a custom al fresco bar on the carriage house lawn.

A brilliant glowing sunset shoot unfolded among endless green vineyard rows, while Charlottesville wedding photographer Jen Fariello captured gentle embraces and knowing glances under a magnificent floral archway. Aerial drone shots caught the expansive forested estate’s fountain and grapevines.

Renowned Charlottesville wedding caterer Exchange Events customized a meaningful menu, presenting guests with mini Maine lobster rolls, sweet corn hushpuppies, skewered steamed shrimp and fried pickle chips before an elaborate seated dinner encored by late-night waffles and ice cream.
