Esther & Drew
August Love in Vintage Bronze at The Market at Grelen
Esther and Drew’s summer Charlottesville wedding glinted in antique bronze and rustic sunset orange. The rural magic of rich, lush, thriving Market at Grelen transported guests to an enchanted countryside love story. Radiant florals in the deepest red, orange, gold and ivory complemented vintage high-back rattan chairs, gilded candlesticks and imperial stone and wrought iron furniture.
Charlottesville wedding floral designers and planners from Brousseau Events used natural elements and vintage touches to elevate the sunny August day. Playing up the 1,000-acre tree nursery’s flourishing greenery, the ceremony unfolded on the expansive lawn among oak trees and sprawling pastoral views while an airy greenhouse reception invited guests to dine and dance in bucolic beauty.
Thoughtful guest experience touches included dried flower petals to toss in celebration and a gourmet donut tower for late-night nibbling. Charlottesville wedding photographers from Out of Twig snapped simplicity in gold and pearls, a touching terraced first look and tender dance floor moments while catering by Hanks BBQ impressed with cheese plates, fresh vegetables, bruschetta and classic pimento sandwich bites followed by a delicious seated dinner.
