A Woodland Wonderland at The Indigo House

Casey and Major exchanged vows on a crisp September day at The Indigo House in Afton, Virginia, with Nichole Dawson Photography beautifully capturing their intimate micro wedding. Nichole’s cinematic shots highlighted the stunning backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the couple's love for one another.

The ceremony took place in a secluded forest clearing, where towering trees provided a serene canopy overhead. Afterward, the couple moved to a beautifully styled reception area, designed by Posey Picnics & Designs. Wooden tables were adorned with seasonal blooms, pampas grass, and vibrant orange accents, bringing warmth and charm to the setting. The couple’s unique naked cake, topped with fresh figs and herbs, added a delightful touch.

The couple enjoyed a locally-sourced meal by Basic Necessities, savoring the serene beauty of the surrounding Charlottesville countryside.

With its rustic elegance and intimate atmosphere, The Indigo House provided the perfect backdrop for Casey and Major’s woodland-inspired micro wedding, celebrating their love amidst the tranquility of nature.
