In the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Emma and Matthew exchanged vows on a golden August afternoon at Montfair Resort Farm in Crozet, Virginia. Surrounded by towering trees and the quiet beauty of a peaceful pond, their wedding felt like a true countryside fairytale.

Planned with care by About Thyme Events, the day began with an intimate outdoor ceremony. Guests were seated on wooden benches lining the aisle, adding a natural, organic feel to the setting.

The celebration continued beneath a canopy of twinkling string lights, where tables draped in soft linen runners were adorned with garden-fresh arrangements by Spring Creek Blooms—a lush medley of blooms and greenery nestled in ornate vases. Gold flatware, delicate glassware, and elegant place cards completed the romantic tablescape, while Exchange Events & Catering served a delightful meal that matched the setting’s quiet elegance.

The sweet finale came in the form of a hand-painted floral cake by Cakes By Rachel, echoing the day’s garden-inspired charm. Alongside it, guests enjoyed a dreamy dessert spread featuring coconut cupcakes and rich chocolate confections.
